Theme Song: "Phatdippin'" - Rhett & Link
Life Outlook: Cheerful
Current Weather: 14°C, Sunny
Just got back from an interview which I feel was rather successful. I've had a pretty good day so far and my outlook on life has been pretty great over the last little bit. Don't get me wrong, things are still chaos, but my mood has improved drastically and things don't appear nearly as gloomy. I sat in the interview as I was being told about the job and just thought to myself "Wow, this would be perfect for me." Cross your fingers for me! :D
On the way home I had a choice of waiting an hour for a bus or walking - I chose the latter and I'm glad I did. I got home earlier and got to enjoy the wonderful weather we're having right now. It looks as though spring has finally arrived and is here to stay. I'm not a fan of the mud and how wet everything is - but I'd rather have it like this then -40 again. Yay for spring! It's supposed to be nice like this tomorrow (but might rain) - assuming we're rain free I think I'm going to try going for a run. :D Woo for 18 degrees tomorrow.
Josh and I are preparing to sell the house. I think our day yesterday just cemented the many reasons why we need to get out of here. I really wish it wasn't necessary to sell the place, but it's become very clear that it's just not going to work, no matter how much I wish it to.
In other news...
Josh and I went to see Monsters vs. Aliens on the weekend. It was released recently and we went early because we figured it would be crazy on a long weekend. Much to our surprise the threatre was absolutely deserted. People piled in as the previews were on - but up until that point there was only one other person there. Weird. The movie itself was pretty great, I enjoyed it. I think in terms of 3D I enjoyed Coraline better, but the movie wasn't bad at all. Had I not known in advance, I wouldn't have known that Hugh Laurie voiced one of the characters - I had expected him to sound like House but he didn't at all, which was pretty impressive.
I'll bring this post to an end as I prepare to head off to work. Go out, enjoy the sunny weather and take advantage of spring while its around!
