Transit Hell?

Theme Song: "This Is Home" - Prince Caspian Soundtrack
Life Outlook: Bleak
Current Weather: 0°C, Slightly Cloudy

Anyone who has taken Winnipeg Transit before knows that its service can be very hit or miss. Whether it's a bus driving away on you, or a driver shutting the door on your hand, or even the various smelly / screaming people on the bus - it can always be counted on to provide a hilarious or funny story.

Today's journey on the bus was neither funny or enjoyable (cute guys aside). I haven't been feeling too great as of late and have been in a pretty negative spot, and while I was waiting for the bus I saw something that felt pretty par for the course. When you step into a bus shelter one always has to wonder what sort of vile, disgusting things they may run across. Today I have the pleasure of noticing a box of Anti-Nausea pills...mundane in its own right. This box however was battered, torn, mangled...oh and floating in a pool of vomit.

Now I just have to hope that specific image doesn't stay with me at work tonight.

On a brighter note, it's almost officially the long weekend. Josh is busy with his family tonight, but then we get to spend the long weekend together. I'm pretty pumped. It sucks that I have to work for part of it, but I'm trying to look for that whole silver lining thing people are always talking about. It's gotta be around there somewhere right? Oh and one of my managers today called me 'You're a bad omen aren't you? Pure bad luck.' Yes, because that made me feel *so* much better about myself. Thanks.

I'll leave you on a more positive note and with another video from Youtube. This was recently posted by
Nayders07 and is a WoW video entitled "Horde For Life." If you're not a WoW fan I suggest you stop here...but if you are (and aren't completely anti-Horde) I hope you enjoy!
