Theme Song: "Voulez-vous" - Mamma Mia! Soundtrack
Life Outlook: Sick, but Good
Current Weather: 10°C, Showers
I've finally started my new job, and so far its been great. Like any new job of course there is a great deal for me to learn and adapt to - including new coworkers and group dynamics. So far everyone seems great, and I look foward to learning more about my job in the coming weeks.
Of course, as is my usual luck, it hasn't been entirely smooth sailing this week. Yesterday I had the pleasure of contacting my boss on my second day and letting her know I would be late. Due to some cruel twist of fate my bus decided to break down - and not anywhere near any other bus routes...but a block from my house. We had to wait until a new bus came, which was unfortunately not very quick, seeing as it was all the way out in St. Norbert. I'm certainly looking forward to moving closer to normal civilization. I can't imagine what people outside of the city must deal with on a daily basis if they have to commute into the city.
I have my own personal space and need to start making it my own. Any suggestions? What pictures should I put up? The last time I put up pictures at work I constantly had people asking if Michelle was my girlfriend and if Jackie was my sister. I can't say I see the resemblance. :-) Photo suggestions are more then welcome!
Alright, time to start a new and exciting day at work. Wish me luck!

Hospital and Other Adventures
Theme Song: "Only The Beginning of the Adventure" - Chronicles of Narnia Soundtrack
Life Outlook: Positive
Current Weather: 12 °C, Slightly Cloudy
It's been over a week since my last update, forshame.
Most of last week was spent worrying about and recovering from my trip to the hospital. After all of the delays and rescheduling there was a cancellation and I was able to get in to have some tests done. I had to take some medication leading up to it...and do tonnes of fasting, and then afterwards my stomach was a mess for a few days. All in all, it wasn't enjoyable - I just hope that they found something. I won't know results until mid-June. I hate waiting, but at least it's done with now.
Josh and my family were with me at the hospital, which I am very grateful for. Needles wig me out big time, and even though they couldn't be with me while I was getting the IV done or even during the tests, I was just glad knowing that I had people there to support me. Even if they were just stuck in the waiting room for 4 hours. Thank you! :D
I haven't put much time into WoW, or Writing, or anything else lately. On the plus side, without some of those distractions I've been brainstorming a lot more lately. With any luck I'll get some positive results from that. Now, however, I just need to find an artist to help me make my ideas into a reality.
My new job starts this week, which is something to look forward to. It's bound to be a steep learning curve, but I'm excited for it. I enjoy learning new things and tackling new challenges...and I'm sure that my brain could use a little more stimulation then DVDs and WoW have provided me as of late. Wish me luck!
